The Black Rat Restaurant Bar is open to all customers in Winchester whether you are dining with us that day or not.
We have a bar upstairs at the restaurant where you can have a pre-dinner drink and peruse the menu. We also welcome guests who aren’t dining with us but would like to try our wine menu to feel free to visit to use the bar and have a pleasant drink with friends.

The wine list has some 80 wines with a balance between Old and New World. Also coffees, shorts, cocktails and bottled beers all are on offer.
There are some different seating options both comfy seating and bar chairs.
The outside area is also available for drinking at one of the four roofed tables. You can speak to the barman about a table reservation if you did choose to dine with us.
